Local Apartment Complex Uses Doggie DNA for Waste Management

I ran into former alderman, Tim Nekich at Cafe De'Arts this morning.

Tim is currently the leasing manager at River Walk Apartments across from Bethesda Park. He shared with us that although the River Walk Apartment Complex allows dogs, they also require doggie dna from the pets. He indicated that it is a widely used inexpensive practice that helps attract and retain residents in apartment and condo complexes whether they are pet owners or not.

Those who fail to pick up after their pups could face fines or even lose their pet privileges making the complexes cleaner, safer and more inviting places to live.
